Services 

On most domestic flights within the US, American Airlines offers 2 classes of service - Economy or First. The Economy cabin is divided into Basic Economy (the lowest fare with restrictions), Main Cabin (standard economy) and Main Cabin Extra (more legroom in economy). First is the highest level of service on flights within the US with wider seats and more legroom.  Economy and Business with recliner seats  are available on short international flights. Long-haul flights are served in Economy, Premium-Economy, Flagship Business and First. Business class seats are fully flat beds. Suite seats are available in First class. Flat-beds and First class service are also offered on some domestic routes, including JFK to LA/San Francisco and Miami to LA.  You may find long-haul configuration aircrafts in rotation on some other domestic routes as well.
