Virgin Atlantic Airways is the 3rd largest carrier in the UK and only offers long haul flights.  It is not a member of any alliance, but is closely associated with SkyTeam members, including Delta Airlines which holds a 49 percent stake in Virgin Atlantic.  Virgin Atlantic is also part of a Joint Venture agreement with both Delta and Air France-KLM.
