Members of the MileagePlus program who attained Premier status in 2022 are now eligible to obtain a United Premier luggage tag.
Following a nearly three-year hiatus, what could passengers expect with this return?
According to reports, the bag label is now eco-friendly since it's crafted from recycled materials. Moreover, customers can avail themselves of advantages such as priority handling and easy luggage identification.
However, considering the number of Premier members, United Airlines is unlikely to distribute welcome packages annually, as it had previously done. Despite that, passengers can expect the airline to expand and diversify its loyalty programs.

United Airlines’ and Deltas’ Ice Cream Sundae, Dessert Cart 

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, in-flight services that include the selection of desserts and customized ice cream sundaes have been temporarily discontinued. Airlines highlighted hygiene protocols, leading to the decision to halt these popular passenger treats.
Nevertheless, United Airlines and Delta have announced that their distinctive dessert features made their delighted return.
On December 1, 2022, United Airlines reintroduced its ice cream sundae cart on selected long-haul flights departing from San Francisco. The airline assured tourists that this exceptional service would gradually be available on all long-haul international flights starting February 2023.
Meanwhile, Delta’s dessert cart now extends vegetarian options. This cart, featuring a variety of treats, is now offered for customers on international and domestic flights.
